Members of the Syston in Bloom committee were present when the memorial stone was delivered and erected on the first of the two concrete containers. Two members of Tarmac from Quarry brought the 2 tonne piece of granite on a lorry equipped with a crane, which lifted the stone into place. This will have a memorial plaque attached to it.
